Visit Historic Mineral Point and stay in an historic home built in 1848. Originally the Samuel Meadows House, this piece of Mineral Point history is conveniently located in the middle of downtown Mineral Point. You will be steps away from art galleries, shopping, bars and restaurants. The cottage is decorated with original artwork from The Mineral Point Gallery. All of the artwork in the cottage is available to purchase from The Mineral Point Gallery.
Notice: Downtown Mineral Point has a lot of construction this Spring and Summer. This construction includes replacing utilities, sidewalks and road construction. The work near and around our cottage has been completed.
The Mineral Point Art Cottage is approximately 1,200 square feet on two floors. The main guest entrance is downstairs and provides direct access to the full kitchen, dining area and living space. The upstairs must be accessed by a staircase that is quite steep. The upstairs includes 2 bedrooms, 1 full bathroom and the living room. In the warmer months, there is an outdoor patio with chairs. We recently restored and refinished the original hardwood floors in the cottage. History lovers will appreciate this vacation rental. It is one of the earliest homes built in Mineral Point.
