Summary: Our family spent two weeks here over the Christmas holiday. We loved the pool. It was a great temperature. Make sure to request it be heated at least 48 hours before your arrival. And there is an additional charge to do it. The home has had damage repairs made previously that are very obvious. Paint on doors is scarred. Blinds on windows are missing slats and should be replaced. No end tables in the living room. We borrowed the small tables from a couple of bedrooms for this purpose. The first night of our visit, I turned down the sheets and found long hairs. We bought our own sheets to use. Downspouts outside were broken, light over the stove was out, the fans in the living room and main bedroom were not adjustable. The grill outside was locked. You need to pay a fee to use it, and request it at least two days before you arrive. We had our two dogs with us, and paid the additional pet fee and had them pre-approved. I failed to read the contract... my fault entirely... it says animals are not allowed on furniture or beds. If I had seen that, we would not have rented. We have rented many homes with our pets, and never had issues after check-out until this rental. So we are being charged for pet hair, missing wine glasses and dishes. I guess we should have counted everything when we arrived, since no breakage occurred, and we certainly didn't take them with us. I have never felt the need to purchase additional damage insurance before, but I am glad I did this time.
