Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: The location was in a quiet part of Flamborough, far enough away for 'seclusion' but in easy walking distance to pubs, restaurants etc. On the lead uo to our stay, Samantha provided all the information on accessing the key for the cottage and on a previous communication she gave us information about the local facilities. The cottage was extemely clean and and well maintained. A lovely thoughtful touch was the welcome pack containing a bottle of wine and biscuits. The cottage itself was equiped with everything you could need for self catering, it was warm and cosy and even had a log burner with some firewood provided although, we didnt use it as we found the central heating warm enough. There was a lovely enclosed garden at the rear which I would imagine is a nice place to sit and relax in the warmer weather. We were not able to take advantage of it during our stay as temperatures didn't get above 2C. Car parking was on the street and we had no problems parking immediately outside the cottage thoughout our stay.
Negative: I really have nothing negative to say about our stay as it fulfilled all our expectations.
Summary: Quaint, cosy and well maintained cottage.
