Positive: Our hosts were helpful. Hicham contacted me by WhatsApp, which was handy as then our taxi driver could talk to him and find out the nearest location to drop us off at (Bab Ziat). Then Hisham came and met us and walked us to the apartment, as it was inside the Medina. He also arranged a taxi for us to the train station. We had a problem as a single sized sheet being on the double bed, but when we pointed it out to Houda she immediately brought over a double sheet for us. It was handy having a washing machine (although it was rather temperamental), and we were able to dry our washing upstairs on the roof terrace. There was a stove, kettle and microwave.

Negative: We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment at number 8. It felt in need of some renovation and a spring clean. Although it did feel very authentic, and was very reasonably priced. Houda came over each morning and made us breakfast. The roof terrace was a great asset, but it would’ve been so nice if there were comfortable chairs up there. It would have improved our stay if there was better quality bedsheets and bedding.

Summary: Reasonably priced 2 bedroom apartment inside the Medina with helpful hosts.
