This great little cottage sits right on the creek. Just passed the creek is the Pisgah National Forest and you can hike in the serene forest. Thiis cottage has a landline and the wifi is really fast. Just a four mile drive up the road is the Blue Ridge Parkway with some of the most beautiful views in the world. The hot tub in the cottage is great to come back to after a long day of hiking. There is also a grill on the porch for cooking that big steak or catch of the day.

Summary: The cute cabin was the perfect size for me and my husband. The kitchen is very well equipped and had everything that we needed. The queen-sized bed was very comfortable and we slept like babies. In the bathroom, there is a heater/vent which was fabulous when showering on chilly evenings! The owner provided extra heaters which came in handy as the temps got into the 30's in the evenings. The main reason I rented this cabin was for the creek out back and it didn't disappoint. It was so very relaxing sitting out on the deck listening to the water run over the rocks. I wish I was still sitting there! The town of Candler is a great little city. If you like chicken, go to Rocky Hot Chicken Shack - the food is delicious! If you are a fan of Mexican food, try El Chalapa - excellent tacos. There are also a ton of fast food restaurants if that is your thing. The location of the cabin is perfect for visiting Asheville or the Blue Ridge Parkway. There are lots of waterfalls about 45 minutes away.I highly recommend this home and want to go back as soon as I can!
