Step outside and immerse yourself in lake life. Enjoy swimming or fishing off the private dock with approximately 4.5 feet of water depth, or take advantage of the included kayaks and stand-up paddleboards for some fun on the water. The boathouse is shared and renters will have access to the right half. Boathouse has access ladder to the water. Relax around the fire pit under the stars, rinse off in the convenient outdoor shower, and soak in the peace of the surrounding nature. Rinse off after a enjoying some fun in the sun in the outdoor shower.
Inside, the open and airy floorplan features beautiful décor and a fully stocked kitchen—perfect for preparing family meals while staying connected. The cozy basement lounge area provides a great space for movie nights or unwinding after a day of adventure. The bunkroom is a favorite for kids and teens, while each bedroom offers comfort and style. To get you started...
The bathrooms are stocked with courtesy hair dryers, travel-size soaps and shampoos designed for quick "off the shelf" use. Each bathroom has a roll of septic-friendly toilet tissue as a starter. You are encouraged to bring whatever you feel you might need beyond the courtesy items provided.
The kitchens are stocked with one roll of paper towels, one trash bag for the kitchen trashcan, trial-size dish soap, two dishwasher pods and 1 sponge. You are encouraged to bring whatever you feel you might need beyond the courtesy items provided.
Linens Provided: Linens are charged as a mandatory separate fee at checkout and will be available at the home, safety-sealed, at the foot of each bed.
Towels Provided: Each guest is provided a bath towel and a washcloth as part of the linen package. Hand towels are provided in each bathroom. NOTE: We do not provide beach towels or dock towels!
A few more tid-bits... :)
1. We are pet-friendly! We know what it's like to have dogs that are part of the family, so we welcome well-behaved, fully house-broken dogs (limit 2). All dogs will need to be registered on the Lake Gaston Vacation Rentals management team. Dogs must be supervised at all times or in a crate, if home alone. Please respect our home by keeping dogs off of the furniture, inside and outside. It is the owner's responsibility to clean up any pet waste. There is a non-refundable pet fee of $250. No cats please.
2. The house, like 99% of all lake homes on Lake Gaston, uses a septic system. This system is a finely balanced biological system. Please help us keep it working flawlessly by flushing ONLY toilet paper. Renters are responsible for any damage caused by misuse.
3. Bow-Riders and Wake Board boats need to check Hummingbirds to ensure adequate depth in all coves. Pontoons should have no issues and everyone is welcome to tie off at the dock with rental boat (make sure to bring your bumpers!).
4. Culverts & Bridges: Be sure to lower your bimini top when going under bridges or through culverts. Appearances can be deceiving!
5. Security Camera Disclosure: We take your privacy very seriously. However, this home is monitored by exterior security cameras in the following locations: Doorbell Camera facing driveway
6. There is absolutely no smoking on the property.
7. Trash service is concierge based, which means that when you need trash service, just call management. We will send the team over to pick it up! .
8. Parking: Ample parking provided on the gravel lot.
9. Guests are asked to bring their own PFD's (life jackets) for maximum safety and proper fit.
10. No horseplay, climbing or jumping at the dock. Also, we recommend wearing some sort of foot protection at all times as docks, decks, paths, wooded areas may have splinters.
11. Quick note here for our boaters...the lifts are NOT available, but you can tie off at the dock.
