The downstairs of the larger Corner Casa this studio is perfect for one and cozy for two. The property is fully fenced with thousands of plants to attract the birds. The balcony faces east and you can laze in the hammock watching the sky. There is a full bathroom here en-suite and the kitchenette has a little fridge, coffee maker, toaster, and a two burner stove top you can use outside on the deck. A sofa for lounging, hanging space, TV, wifi, safe and room for your bags under the bed it all works!
We live next door with our dog Harvey and cat Parker. I wonder over to the garden most days in the morning if you want to ask me anything or get some local info. I have been here 23 years so I can probably help!
You may have guests staying in the upstairs house which also only sleeps two so it’s not party town. Our mantra tends to be party out and use the property as your quiet retreat.
There is a little stove top for outside use with the kitchen on the deck, but honestly I wouldn’t really plan on cooking properly. Coffee and toast, a salad and sandwich is about as far as it goes! Fridge for the cold drinks though!
The location is almost perfect. The sea is 100 feet to the east, Front Street also known as Avenida Hicaco and google has it wrong and calls it playa Asunción although that is actually the beach path. It’s on the corner of front and Aventurera. The ‘action’ starts a little to the north in the next block all the way up to the Split which is about a 10 minute walk.
I always like to help people with their plans to get to the island so let me know what you may need on that front. I arrange taxis from the airport and collect most guests when I can as they arrive at the docks or airport on the island.
