Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Very nicely furnished apartment, reached by a set of 18 stairs that was reasonable for healthy persons, but somewhat hard for those with physical pains. Nevertheless, the location was pleasant, quiet, and not too far from downtown Steamboat Springs. The kitchen facilities were excellent, so that we could also prepare our own meals as needed, and could store food without any problem. Overall, the arrangement was a great advantage to our party, and the main contact was professional and helpful in finalizing all the practical matters we needed to know to make our stay feasible.
Negative: As mentioned above, the 18 steps up to the apartment would be a problem for anyone with physical disabilities. There is no elevator, making the carrying of luggage up to the apartment a bit of a hassle for those of us who were not in the best of physical shape. Nevertheless, the apartment's inner environment was excellent in openness and cleanliness, and the information provided by the manager made the use of the apartment and arrangements we were asked to finalize before leaving very easy and much appreciated.
Summary: Excellent place for families that do not have special needs.
