Take the elevator to this top floor (3rd), end unit. The condo is newly decorated with tasteful southwest touches. Yes, this building has an
elevator for easy access. The 3rd floor offers peace and quiet. It also has a view of the Santa Fe Mountains. This comfy condo has new furnishings, a very well equipt kitchen, and central heat and the rare Santa Fe treat, air conditioning!!
Also, there is a washer and dryer in the unit. Laundry soap is provided.
There is a nice shopping mall a couple blocks away, with a great grocery store, restaurants, Starbucks and movie theater. It is a few blocks, about a 4 minute drive, to the famed Plaza in the heart of downtown Santa Fe. Jump on the highway and head north 4 miles to the famous Santa Fe Opera house. Santa Fe skiing is only 18 miles away!
Because this is our home away from home, we put the most comfortable King size bed in this one bedroom, one bath condo. And since our friends and family come to visit, we bought a brand new, very comfortable queen size sleeper sofa.
There are plenty of towels, linens, blankets and pillows for your stay. For a fun night in, There are a few games, books and puzzles here as well.
When you enter the condo, you will notice a lot of light from all the windows along the back wall with lovely tree and mountain views. The condo is all tile floors and has wood beamed ceilings in the living and dining areas. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. Coffee maker, microwave, grinder, baking pans, mitts, grilling tools, pots and pans, crock pot, toaster, blender, dishwasher, all utensils and cups, plates and even some spices. Just pick up some groceries from one of several stores in town and you are good to go. There is a common area downstairs equipped with grills, patio tables, and chairs.
The condo has a lovely dining area plus seating for 2 at the bar area overlooking the kitchen. The living area has comfy leather sofa and a cozy reading arm chair. There is a 50" flat screen TV with cable and free high speed internet and WiFi.
There is also a spacious bathroom with a tub/shower combo. Plenty of towels, shampoo and body wash and even a hair dryer. As I mentioned, it has a brand new, king size bed in the bedroom. Also lots of storage in the wall of closets and chest of drawers.
Beyond the french doors, there is a large covered balcony that spans the entire width of the condo. There is plenty of seating out there! The perfect quiet spot to take in the wonderful view. It is a great place to enjoy the sunrise and morning coffee or the sunset with a nice glass of wine.
Also, in the winter, the skiing is located about 18 miles from the condo. So many other activites like hiking, shopping, 5 museums including the Georgia O'Keefe Museum downtown, will keep you as busy as you want to be. Take a trip to Bandelier National Park to see the Indian ruins or head to the awe inspiring Tent Rocks National Park for something completely different. There are hundreds of trails for biking and hiking all over Santa Fe.
The location is about a mile from downtown and a few blocks from Albertans, restaurants, and shopping. Jump on the highway to head north to the Opera house, the Buffalo Thunder casino or The Bandolier National Monument.
We chose this condo for its great location, peaceful surroundings and mountain views. It truly is our home away from home, so we try to make it as modern and comfortable as possible.
