Whip down to the all famous Cable Bay dairy for an ice cream or freshly baked goods. There are many other beach locations nearby, as well as the delightful Mangonui Historic Village where you can take in the harbour while sipping on a coffee in one of the cafes or the ever popular Mangonui fish shop,then enjoy browsing in one or two of the little shops our township has to offer. A 20min drive away is the Karikari Peninsula which has plenty more to explore.
