The beach house is spacious, beautifully decorated and very well maintained by owners who take pride in making sure you will have a wonderful vacation. It features a fully equipped kitchen and large dining area (8-seat dining table and extra seating at the kitchen peninsula counter). The beach house comes equipped with complimentary high-speed Internet and cable TV, or put away the electronics and enjoy some family time with lots of board games, playing cards, puzzles and basketball. Enjoy your favorite beverage on the large upper deck while you watch the sunset over the sound, and savor a cup of coffee in the morning on the lower deck as the sun rises over the ocean side.
Chillin’ Ri’ Cheer is in South Nags Head, MP 21, and features wide, secluded beaches with fewer crowds even in peak season and awesome sea glass hunting. You’ll have easy access to the beach (see aerial view photo). South Colony S Drive is parallel to the beach road (S. Old Oregon Inlet Road) with public beach access directly across the street, and public beach access parking lot just a couple of blocks away which is very convenient if plan to do some fishing.
While just far enough south for some relaxation and serenity, the beach house is close to great restaurants, shopping and fishing. Chillin’ Ri’ Cheer is just 5 miles from the legendary Sam & Omies Restaurant, the Tanger Outlet Mall for great shopping, and the new Jennette’s Pier in Nags Head. For some great live music the Outer Banks Fishing Pier is just up the road at MP 18.5, home of Fishheads Bar and Grill. We are only 2.5 miles from the Bodie Island Lighthouse, 4 miles from Oregon Inlet Fishing Center, and 11 miles from Roanoke Island to visit the Aquarium, the Lost Colony, or the historic Manteo waterfront.
On the lower level (new carpet and bathrooms in 2017-18), the beach house comfortably sleeps 9 (up to 6 adults) with a full jack and jill bathroom in between each bedroom. There are 4 bedrooms on the 1st level: 1 master bedroom with queen bed + cable TV, 1 guest bedroom with queen bed, 1 guest bedroom with 2 twin beds that can be converted into a king size bed, and 1 kid's room with bunk beds and trundle bed + cable TV and DVD. The 1st level has a conveniently located washer and dryer. Bed linens and bath towels are provided with the cleaning service.
Standard rental week is Sunday to Sunday; however, depending on availability we will will consider other requests. There is more flexibility in the off season to schedule your stay during the week or over a long weekend, with minimum stay of 3 nights. Please note that reservations are not accepted for vacationing students or persons under the age of 25 unless accompanied by an adult 25 or older (minimum 1 for every 4 persons under 25). The adult must stay in the house each night.
