Summary: We spent a lovely week at Jack’s house, set in the open woodland just behind Porto Pozzo. There was only the two of us so we certainly had no need of the additional house with the 5th bedroom. Not sure what the previous review was about – the main house had 4 bedrooms as advertised and the optional additional house was a long way off up the hill – so hardly “Logements mitoyens”. The main house was very comfortable, clean and well equipped with a modern kitchen and the possibility of indoor or outdoor dining. The large semi-shaded deck was just perfect for el fresco dining – day or evening. The house is well insulated with thick walls and rolldown shutters on the many large windows. We slept with the windows open at night because the shutters also doubled as insect screens. As for location, it suited us perfectly. Beaches and ports, shops and restaurants all an easy drive away. Jack had provided us with the names of his favourite restaurants and beaches, so we had a great time checking these out. Happy to recommend this house. 5 stars!
