Come enjoy this charming 2,750 sqft log cabin up in the pine forest of Northern Arizona. Located in Groom Creek, AZ just south of Prescott at an elevation of 6,400ft. Less than a two hour drive from Phoenix, you will experience temperatures 30 degrees cooler than in the valley! Wrap around deck gives a view of natural boulders allows you to relax while listening to the breeze flow through the pine trees.
A county maintained nature trail is a five minute walk across the street. Less than one mile away are dirt trails for exploring. Bring your ATV's. These roads lead to Crown King 30 miles away.
We are 5 minutes from Goldwater Lake, where you can fish, rent a kayak, or hike the nature trails around this picturesque lake.
We are directly across the street from historic Groom Creek school house, and a paved nature trail in the pines. Groom Creek school house is the original one room school house for this area. Definitely worth seeing.
Three bedrooms plus a large great room down stairs to sleep additional people. Three bathrooms offer unique amenities.
Master bedroom has a king sized bed and on suite bathroom with a large glass shower.
Bedroom #2 has a queen size bed. Bedroom #3 has a full size futon bed that is surprisingly comfortable. These two bedrooms share a bathroom across the hall featuring a cast iron claw foot tub which also is a shower.
Downstairs is a great room which has two more full size futon couches. The downstairs has a large bathroom with full size tub and an enclosed steam shower with rainfall and handheld showerheads.
Great for large families or groups.
The home is located off of South Senator Highway approximately six miles South of Prescott. Please watch your speed on this road, especially at night, as there are deer present in the area. You will drive down a dirt and gravel driveway to access the house but it is only a short distance from the paved road. A normal sedan can drive down this driveway without issue.
Parking is available for up to six vehicles. The house shares a driveway with the neighbor who can only access his house via our driveway so please do not impede access to his property or park on it.
Amenities feature a fully stocked kitchen with cook ware, a spice rack, glassware, silverware, plates, bowls etc.. A large dine in island sits across from the kitchen. A large hutch has a microwave and plenty of storage for dry goods. Six person dining table inside and an additional six person table outside plus additional seating at the fire pit and swing chair. New propane BBQ grill outside. A hot tub allows for ultimate relaxation in the back of the house.
Newly installed 240V 50A NEMA 14-50 outlet near the driveway to charge your electric vehicle. A NEMA 5-20 120V 20A outlet is also located in the same area. Bring your own charge cord.
The garage, small pantry closet and master bedroom closet are locked by the owners and contain personal effects. All other areas of the property are yours to enjoy.
PLEASE BE SURE TO CLOSE AND LOCK ALL WINDOWS AND DOORS UPON DEPARTURE. Turn off all lights, fans, etc.
