Summary: The property was clean and comfortable, but several things did not work well. We could not get the keypad on the front door to work, so we called the property manager and were told how to get the key out of the lock box. We used this key all week, but it was difficult to lock and unlock the front door with it. The overhead light in the bunk bed room did not work till I went to ACE Hardware and bought a new specialty battery for the remote. The bunk bed room does not have a closet, so it is technically not a bedroom. The mechanisms for tilting some of the Venetian blinds were broken, probably from misuse. The sliding door was difficult to operate. There were no instructions for the washing machine, so we put the soap pod in the wrong place and it didn't dissolve. I think someone should check everything in this house and repair the things that do not work. Some managers let clients discover what is broken, and then they fix it for the next client. I don't think it is fair to expect clients to find and fix problems with vacation properties.
