Villa Maria 'A home from home'. Built in 2009, a truly Beautiful Villa on the hills of Haraki, Overlooking the breathtakingly historic Feraklos Castle which shines as bright as the stars on a warm greek evening. As a further treat to your truly wonderful views, you can access the castle's inner secrets via the picturesque steps, only a 10 minute walk from the Villa itself.
The home from home -
Upon your arrival, greeted by a modern Greek Villa with its own personal locking driveway and stoned garden with a pathway.
Through the front door & Mosquito net, entering the spacious living area. Upon arrival, you are warmly greeted by traditional greek comforts with air conditioning (Top to Bottom), the kitchen area provides everything you need from, Electric hob, Oven, Fridge Freezer, Microwave, Toaster, Kettle and a dishwasher & not to forget a dining room table which has 4 chairs to bring you all together at dinner times.
Don't worry if you've under packed, we have a washing machine at your disposal and a clothing horse to dry. In the downtime between sightseeing, sunbathing and relaxing, you can always find comfort in the homely living space.
There you will find two sofas perfectly situated in front of a 42" inch Smart TV pre-packed with Netflix, Disney + And all other available streaming platforms. In addition to the downstairs floor, you will find the bathroom. In there you will find a tastefully modern tiled bathroom including a shower, toilet, sink and a large mirror with drawers and storage compartments for your toiletries and electrics.
Furthermore, you will find towels and a hair dryer if you need it. In your exploration of the villa, Up a short flight of stairs you will find the master Potaras bedroom. Up there you will discover that you have a double wooden wardrobe, two bedside tables and a comfortable king size bed with plug sockets (EU) either side and the air con directly above.
Opposite the bed, you are met with your very own private balcony overlooking the pool, garden & Village Haraki with sea views and not to forget previously mentioned Faraklos castle.
Finding your way back downstairs and opposite the bathroom, you will find the second bedroom. Which also contains a wardrobe, bedside table, air conditioning and a double bed.
Out the back through the mosquito net and French sliding doors, the real sense of Greece finally sets in, when your hit by the warm ocean breeze and magnificent views. In front of you beholds your own private pool including an outdoor shower to wash yourself down after a swim. Also you'll find a table and chairs sat underneath the wooden pergola, giving you that shaded respite from the hot greek sun. Surrounding the pool are 4 sunbeds and an umbrella. And on those quiet nights in, you'll find nothing more relaxing than the lights runway effect down the sides of the grass with a hand planted palm tree lit up in all its glory.
If you can tear yourself away from the villa, you'll find the up and coming village of Haraki with only a 5 minute walk from the villa itself. walking down the low traffic polluted street towards Haraki bay, you'll find an overwhelming amount of local shops and resturaunts to browse offering you a real sense of the histories and heritage of Haraki and Rhodes. carrying on forward you will find yourself taken back as you uncover the hidden gem that is Haraki bay, teaming with life and friendly locals every night in the bay will be different we can assure you that much! the beach itself sits within a quiet Fishermans bay with crystal clear waters and schools of fish swimming at your feet you can cool off at one of many local run restaurants which more often than not allow you sun bed access if you simply order from their establishment.
if you're feeling particularly adventurous you can visit the other villages and cities within Rhodes all accessible by a short amount of time. Why not see the acropolis of lindos and its labyrinth of shops within its markets? you could also take a donkey ride for a small fee to the top so you can see the breathtaking views of lindos and surrounding villages for yourself. and if you want more historic sightseeing why not take a 45 minute drive up to Rhodes town? visit the old town, the markets and even take a stroll through the castle itself! but if you've had enough of history and want to get the party started, where better to start than faliraki which is only a 20 minute drive away!
