Kingfisher is a character 3-bedroom, thatched, dog-friendly cottage set within the grounds of Lea Hill cottages near Membury in the heart of the beautiful Devon countryside but only 20 minutes from the Jurassic coast at Lyme Regis and Charmouth. The cottage can share the stunning communal gardens and accepts 4 dogs, so is ideal for dog lovers looking to explore this beautiful region at any time of year.
You can enter Kingfisher from various doors but the main entrance is via the kitchen/dining area on the ground floor. The dining area has a large table and seating for 5 guests. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, plus a fridge; off the kitchen is a useful utility room where you can find a microwave, a fridge-freezer, a dishwasher and a washing machine.
Also, on the ground floor is a large bedroom with two 3ft single beds, which can be linked to make a king-size double. This bedroom also has an en-suite bathroom with bath and overhead shower, a WC and a wash-basin. There is also an entrance into this room, handy for dropping off bags.
From the kitchen, there are stairs to the first floor where you will discover a lovely bright living room with far reaching countryside views. This room has two double sofas, an electric fire and a TV/DVD. Off this room is a small single room with a single bed.
The final room upstairs is a lovely bright double bedroom with loads of storage and an en-suite bathroom with bath and overhead shower, a wash-basin and a loo.
