Positive: The location is really phenomenal and perfect for reaching Montalcino, as well as many of the great wineries around. The rooms are spacious and very elegant. There is a pool with service (drinks, snacks, etc.) and the breakfast is good as well.

Negative: There is no on-site restaurant for dinner. Available until 6-7 pm every night, but closed for dinner, which is a bit inconvenient for a hotel that is located in such a remote area. Additionally, the rooms themselves - while very spacious and elegant - could definitely use an upgrade for the price. The beds are a bit hard, the sheets are clearly aged, etc.
