Positive: Villa Marchesina is a house that looks even better in person than it looks in the pictures. We've had such a great vacation in the house and if we go to Apulia again, we're staying there for sure. The house is located at the end of the quiet street, so there is no traffic. Sandy beach is cca. 200 m from the house which is packed with everything you could need in vacation – or to live in there. The kitchen is well equipped, with no cheap stuff but with great appliances, the refrigerator is big, there is central air-conditioning which works great, outside is a shower, barbeque, etc. We even used the beach towels from the house, because they were better for the sandy beaches than ours. And there was so much more stuff that we didn’t even use. There wasn’t one thing missing, except maybe one little thing. There were no wine glasses (which would not be a problem), but I asked for them and were delivered the same evening with a great complimentary bottle of wine, which tells you a lot about the hosts and how they want you to feel great when you are there. You can see that owners really wanted to have a house where they would feel great and not just something to fill with cheap things and rent it to others. We’ve had a great time in this house, and it was the best one we’ve ever rented. I just hope that other guests will respect it as much as we did and we will find it in the same condition when we get back.
