Positive: Location and views were fabulous. Beautiful private terrace with retractable shade, garden furniture and a view of Burriana Beach. Inside the apartment it was very clean with a nice new kitchen. Temperatures were in the mid to high 20's however we only needed the air con one night as the apartment was very cool inside. Very comfortable new mattress. Loved the fabulous lake and garden walk down to the beach every day with its wildlife and waterfall. It was like a little bit of paradise. Facillities at the apartment complex were good with a lovely pool and snack bar.
Negative: We had to collect keys from a hotel reception in the Nerja town, which meant having our taxi transfer stop there rather than going directly to the property. It would be better if you could collect the keys from the keybox outside the door of the apartment to save time and cost, however it was a quick stop and so was not that much out of the way. Also, once we arrived at the apartment complex, the apartment itself was very difficult to find as the numbering system makes no sense and the map provided wasn't much help. This was the only issue however. This apartment complex is not for anyone who has any difficulty walking up and down steps as there are so many of them. I think I counted around 250 steps from the front door of our apartment to the beach via the garden and the only alternative route is a very long walk around the complex and down the road.
