Positive: The apartment would have been excellent if managed from another person.

Negative: I have travelled all over the world and have never encountered such an inhospitable and rude host. Upon arrival, he had locked the two of the three bedrooms and seemed obsessed with the idea that we were hiding extra guests, even though it was clear we are only two persons. He even said that we are a couple and need only one bedroom!! Despite my explaining several times that I had booked the entire apartment, not just one bedroom, he ignored me completely. Only after I contacted Booking.com did he finally come to unlock the second bedroom. This experience was extremely unpleasant for the start of our holidays in the beautiful Madeira.
