This home is a NEWLY CONSTRUCTED COTTAGE! Juniper Cottage is an adorable custom built retreat on Lake Michigan boasting brand new furniture, new king mattresses, quartz countertops throughout, walk in tile shower, tile tub shower, heated tile floors, new panel ready appliances & professional style 36” induction range.
Juniper Cottage was designed with beachy vibes, paneling and light woods in every space to compliment the beauty of the Big Lake. The home is furnished beautifully, including custom hand built pieces. We're located in a quiet area directly ON Lake Michigan between Silver Lake Sand dunes & Pentwater, with our own private beach and large yard. A 200 sq. ft. TREX deck overlooks the beautiful Lake Michigan, complete with lounge chairs to watch the sunsets. We even have ceiling heaters for cold nights and cozy fall days!
We WILL have stairs to the beach and a small beach to thoroughly enjoy the lake!! Summer of 2022 we had a nice sand bar that was 24” deep! It was amazing! We also have a fun outdoor shower with hot and cold water to rinse off after the beach. Spring 2023 we will have a nice outdoor patio with seating for 8 people along with an outdoor dining area, grilling center and fire pit.
Juniper Cottage has 2 large private bedrooms (Sleeps 6-8), two with direct views of the Lake Michigan. The cottage has 2 full bathrooms; bath on the main floor has a tub with tile surround. Other full bath is located near the 2 bedrooms upstairs. The primary bathroom has 2 sinks and a walk in tile shower.
An additional bedroom lounge area is located in the lower level, it sleeps 3. This flex space can be used for lounging, gaming, family hangout, but offers additional sleeping if needed. There is a queen bunk bed with a twin above. There is also a sofa seating area with a TV mounted to the wall for movies or naptime.
The center of the home includes a spacious kitchen (all new including appliances) and dining area, living area with large picture windows housing the beautiful lake view. Dining room accommodate 6-8 people at the table island. Juniper Cottage is a perfect spot to spend time with loved ones, spend a honeymoon, or just rest and recharge.
Each bedroom has their own Smart TV. We have a large Smart Tv in the living area for the rainy day movies.
There is a fire pit just off the deck and a Sonos ceiling speaker system to play your own music! Local wood stands around Pentwater/Silver Lake area are available for night time fires. Just south of Juniper Cottage, Silver Lake offers the Sand Dunes, Mac Woods Dune rides, several ice cream spots, breakfast diners, craigs cruisers (with rollercoaster and zip line, mini golf and race cars, an arcade, and much more). Shops are available for the ladies, custom candy stores for the kids, a public campground with a playground and beach to Silver Lake! Golden Sands Golf course is a family friendly and VERY fun golf course, it serves the best pizza in town! Grace Adventures offers horse back riding if your looking for an afternoon activity. Cherry Point has the famous lavender gardens for the nature lovers. There is SO much fun packed in Silver Lake Area.
Just north of Juniper Cottage is the town of Pentwater. This adorable town has some of the best shops and shopping in Western Michigan! Fun boutiques, art gallery's, toy stores, cosmic candy shop and many restaurants make a little drive to Pentwater totally worth it!
*Just south of Mears is an indoor waterpark called JJ Waterpark and Resort. This fun place is a great idea for a rainy day, or a change of pace!
*Another fun activity for kids and families is the Lewis Farm and Petting Zoo. This place is decked out with all kinds of outdoor fun, great learning activities and a cute gift shop with local foods.
