This holiday apartment couldn’t be better placed for exploring the beautiful Lake District, with boat trips and a host of amenities and attractions close by.. 17 steps to entrance.

Having been renovated in 2019, Bowness Apartment offers a stylish and relaxing living area for family and friends alike. The open plan living space creates a great social space for the whole group and offers comfort for everyone. Just minutes’ walk from the world famous Beatrix Potter Museum, this apartment is ideally located in the cosmopolitan town of Bowness-on-Windermere.
A wealth of independent shops, cafés, traditional pubs and high end restaurants are all found within a short stroll. You can also enjoy a leisurely steamer ride on the lake to witness the stunning landscape. There are regular boat trips over to Ambleside and Lakeside, the latter of which is home to the Lakes Aquarium. From here you can take a steam train along the Lakeside-Haverthwaite railway route. Summary: We are a group of friends meeting up in the Lake District from far and wide. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, fresh and airy. Comfortable beds with quality linen. Well equipped kitchen. Plenty of hot water with a good shower over bath. The lounge kitchen area is much more spacious than it comes across in the photos. Lots of natural light. Off street parking for two cars and was able to park additional car on the road outside. Walking distance to town and lakeside. Highly recommend.
