Summary: Big challenges with communication; it took over 12 hours to get a response and it was unclear/inconsistent with whom we were communicating. Parking is listed as an amenity but there is no parking on site; we had to park illegally during check-in and then were told we had to park some distance away during our stay. The secure parking option costs €12/day. We were also not given access to the wifi. There was no welcome information at all about the property or the area unlike all other VRBO's we have stayed in. We were not given a key to lock the deadbolts on the door and also had difficulty locking/unlocking the front door to the building, so did not feel safe staying there or keeping our belongings there. We decided to leave and instead stayed at a local hotel during our time in Almería. We communicated the security issues with the host but they declined to give us a refund. If the host can solve the communication, amenity, and safety issues, the spa/sauna would make this a nice accommodation.
