Summary: I have stayed here every summer for the past couple of years and when I started staying here, I really enjoyed it, but each stay since 2022 has gotten worse. I like this hotel because of the views, the balcony, its a quiet area away from the madness of the boardwalk, and the convenience of having a kitchen so I can cook my own food instead of spending money to go out to eat. I also like where it is situated because it's quiet and its near the beginning of the beach where I can enjoy the beach without the crowd. Before this week, I last visited in 2023. During that visit, we opened up the sofabed where my daughter was going to sleep and there was a crackpipe. Then the AC wasn't working and they sent someone upstairs to fix it 3 times until finally they decided to switch our room. As for this week, the front desk staff was not friendly at all. They don't give extra blankets, sheets etc for the sofabed and do not change dirty towels. There was a dirty diaper and garbage on the ice machine. (See pic attached). It is frustrating that where I once enjoyed this hotel and its perfect location, I will never return.
