Blue Sky is a cozy 3 bedroom, 2 bath, 2 story cottage on a sunny corner lot on the hillside. The cottage is loved, managed, and maintained by the owners. Blue Sky Cottage was one of the first houses built on the ridge at the southern end of The Sea Ranch. The 1400+ square foot cottage has been completely renovated with comfort in mind while retaining vintage, beachy charm. The living room has a large screen tv and window seat. The livng room is kept warm by a free-standing gas fireplace. Bamboo floors with area rugs keep the space cozy and inviting. The dining and kitchen areas are open to the living area making even the chef feel part of the action. A farm house table for six is the perfect spot for meals and family game nights.
Stainless appliances including a gas range are sure to keep the chef happy. There is ample butcher block counter space for meal preparation. A large selection of cookware and bakeware is available. Bamboo floors with area rugs extend through the bedrooms. Electric baseboard heaters in the bedrooms keep the bedrooms warm on cold nights. The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed and a slider to a deck overlooking the backyard. Also downstairs is a skylit full bath with shower over tub. The downstairs bedroom has privacy from the main living area of the cottage. A washer and a dryer are conveniently located downstairs. There are two bedrooms upstairs. One with a queen bed and a windowseat perfect for an afternoon nap. The twin bedroom upstairs has 2 twin beds and is sunny and bright with a tall star gazing window. A shared full bath with shower over tub completes the upstairs. No need to remember sheets and towels, all linens are provided and included in the housekeeping fee.
Outside, enjoy the private, landscaped fenced yard, with native plants, a stone walkway, seating areas, and a private hot tub. Andirondack chairs in the front and fenced yard are the perfect place to read, relax, and watch the many hummingbirds that come to visit. There is a gas barbecue for your use.
