Positive: Lovely area of the Lake district and the cottage was an excellent size for our 2 families. The pool was right next to our cottage and a welcome addition. We were allowed an early check in which we were very grateful for as we didn't want to navigate in the dark and rain!!
Negative: When we checked in there was no heating on and no hot water available. The maintenance team came and sorted the hot water the following day. We didn't get a welcome parcel on arrival and so we didn't have any tea or coffee and as we arrived on a sunday, there were no shops open! They did bring us some the next day after i asked them.
