7 Bedroom House with TV, View and Private Pool
The property is split into two buildings, a main house ( 4 beds) and a gardienne's house (3 beds) across the courtyard. Fantastic views of the Alpes maritimes and 10,000 sqm of gardens, with a gorgeous pool and full size tennis court.
La Bergerie is set in a peaceful countryside domaine in Opio, surrounded by woodland yet only 5 minutes drive from the charming Valbonne village. Nice Airport is a 25 minute drive away.
There are wonderful local restaurants nearby , and a number of supermarkets within a 7 minute drive! Antibes and the beaches of the cote d'azur are within a 20 minutes drive. In the nearby town of Villeveuve loubet is an outdoor activity centre for the children and in Cagnes sur mer, a brand new shopping district The Polygon.
The entire property has just been fully renovated and is both charming and functional. The villa is beautifully decorated throughout. In the main house there is a huge open plan living/dining area which opens onto a large terrace overlooking the pool area.
There are TVs in the children's room and in both living rooms. The main house TV has English channels and there are Sonos Speakers in the living area. Wifi throughout. Each Bedroom has hot/cold air conditioning units.
There are 4 bedrooms in the main house; 3 bedrooms on the ground floor; one bedroom has a superking bed and opens out onto the terrace. There is a large bathroom and separate WC . Next to that is the large children's room which has 2 single beds and a double sofa bed.
Bedroom 3 has a king size bed and ensuite bathroom with shower and WC.
Upstairs in the property there is an airy double bedroom with its own bath - this is ideal for an au pair!
There is also a separate WC/cloakroom next to the entrance hall.
The kitchen is very well equipped with Gaggenau appliances and is next to the large dining area which comfortably seats 12 . There is a butlers pantry next to the kitchen as well as a wine fridge. There is also a separate laundry with washing machine and tumble dryer.
The gardienne's house is completely self sufficient. It has 3 bedrooms - Superking downstairs with its own terrace looking onto the garden. Also has an ensuite bathroom - bath, walk in shower and wc.
Upstairs , bedroom 6 has a king size bed and ensuite shower room, bedroom 7 has a double bed , again with ensuite shower room
Downstairs there is a living room and kitchen with dining area for 4-6, refurbished to the same high standard as the main house. The kitchen has washing machine , dishwasher 2 fridges and a freezer all by Miele.
Outside the kitchen door is a beautiful terrace with table and chairs , enjoying a fabulous mountain view.
The grounds of the property are really wonderful. There is 10,000 m2 of private garden which is fully enclosed. There is a full size tennis court - all weather , a vegetable patch , olive and fruit trees. There is also table tennis and an enormous trampoline .
The large terrace area surrounding the pool gets full sun and is perfect for lounging on one of the many sun loungers. The BBQ is at the end of the terrace under a shaded vine covered canopy . There is a beautiful blue ceramic dining table on the terrace, which will comfortably seat 10 and is between the house and the pool.
The infinity pool is 12 m with a jacuzzi attached.
This is a wonderful well located property which has been lovingly restored to the owners' high standards . The interior is outstanding and the garden and pool provide the perfect holiday setting. A much loved house and home!
