Summary: What a beautiful place. We stayed for 2 weeks in April. This side of the island was perfect. A beautiful morning sun rise, clean quiet beach, and a great place to say. No business traffic like the city - unless you prefer that. We walked the beach a few times, saw tons of turtles in the distance. We had our own personal alarm clock, courtesy of Mr. Rooster - we did appreciate him and his consistency lol! In the evening, the view was beautiful from the window. The weather was beautiful, we never felt hot, as most places do not have AC and utilize fans. The place was cute and quaint. We encountered some friendly ants, but it’s no different than here in MO where we live. They are even worse here actually. None the less, ants are harmless - just keep the place tidy, maybe close up the trash bag too if you’re bothered. Funny how people act as if their own home never has even 1 bug. They were doing some construction but it was no bother to us, they were at the other end of the property. The property was clean! You will likely encounter rain at night, while sleeping, so I recommend closing up the windows, leaving a bit of gap for air flow. We met several people that lived there and some the friendliest people we encountered. Highly recommend staying here to enjoy a beautiful experience daily. I truly wish I could post photos from the mornings and evenings. Words cannot describe the view!
