Positive: The unit itself was very good. No tea or coffee facilities available.
Negative: AFTER we had paid we were informed we had to pick keys up in Lagos but not until 4pm. We were in Sagres and had to drive quite a way to collect keys then drive back again to the property. Algarve Dreams was the business giving out the keys. There was no parking near their office. There was a queue out the door and along the street where we had to wait. It was very slow progress with many waiting and only 2 staff managing this work. Then the map we had was difficult to use to the unit. We finally found it but didn’t know that was our unit because the door key was very difficult to use. It was very hard to open the door so we thought we had the wrong place. After ringing the Algarve Dream office many times because the recorded music ended by hanging up on us, we finally got some help. We did manage to get the key to work with close instruction from the staff. The key to this place was clearly a problem. There was lubricant on it to help and this must be because others have had similar problems. It was after 6:30 before we got into this place and we had to be out by 10:00am. We were very unhappy with this whole process. If a property needs you to go somewhere else to get keys let us know BEFORE we pay for it. This was a very frustrating, stressful and time wasting experience for us. We were not at all happy.
