Thank you for looking at Quarryman’s Cottage. A traditional Welsh quarryman’s residence built in 1890, which has been carefully renovated and extended retaining many of the original features. Located in the foothills of Snowdon between Llanberis and Bethesda with spectacular views towards Anglesey and the sea. Our easy road access allows you to hill walk or mountain bike straight from the cottage, with both Elidir Fawr and the UNESCO world heritage site, Dinorwig quarry on the doorstep.
For those who enjoy an adrenalin rush we are only 10 minutes’ drive from Zip World (the fastest zip line in the world). We also have world class slate climbing within a 5 minute drive. Not to mention the highest mountain in Wales (Snowdon) and a multitude of other adventure activities.
For those who enjoy a less strenuous getaway cosy nights in front of the log burner, or a glass of wine watching the amazing sunsets (weather permitting!) from the bench outside maybe just the retreat you need. There are also many beautiful towns, villages, castles and beaches close by to explore.
