Positive: location is superb . Large communal space.Modern fittings and electrics. The concierge was very friendly…..charming.All the basics were provided. we were by and large happy but with quite a number of reservations listed below.
Negative: Furnishing was very minimalistic. there should have been bedside tables and table lamps but there were none. There were no waste bins in the bedrooms. A comfortable chair in each bedroom should have been provided. We would have liked a kettle and a toaster. The house was very clean but the outside table had a layer of dust. The downstairs shower curtain had a broken ring and hung down at the end. A smoke alarm was pinging every minute as the battery needed changing (We removed it ourselves) The young lady that met us was not familiar with the heating controls. I eventually worked that out myself. The room thermostat that controls the heating is in the kitchen which is a fault as when it reaches operating temperature it shuts down the heating in the rest of the house which is very inconvenient. It needs to be relocated downstairs
