Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: The breakfast had a huge variety of food to choose from. The hotel is near Maya and has many shops, spas and salons within walking distance. Even though it is right downtown it is surrounded by trees so you feel like you are in the jungle while swimming. Amazing 👏
Negative: We didn't have hot water in the evenings. Reception was friendly but not really attentive. They didnt acknowledge me while I patiently waited at the counter and forgot to tell us they checked our room when checking out so we just sat there and waited for no reason. The pool was sooo cold. Refreshing but we couldn't stay in thw water for more than a couple minutes. The aircon worked well in most of our suite but not in one of the rooms so we had to sleep with the door open to get ac from the living room.
Summary: We were impressed with the decor and dedication to upkeep in this unique and lovely hotel.
