Positive: It was close enough to the mediaeval.city, accessible simply by foot or public transport. Although the apartment overlooked a busy main road it was not noisy. Bamberg is an exceptionally beautiful city and certainly worth a few days visit.
Negative: This 'studio' had all the 'charm' of a well-used.student flat! The kitchenette was ridiculously cramped with no worktop space for even basic food preparation and although there was a stock of useful kitchen goods, like kettle, coffee maker and toaster, these were stored in something akin to a series of bookshelves; not just impractical but also potentially dangerous with a tightly stretched cable and sockets. There was no corkscrew or even bottle opener! The bathroom had only a small bath - who uses these now? - with a hand spray with a very short stretch; effectively there was no shower. It claims to have access to a 'terrace' but where was it? Perhaps worst of all was that absolutely no information about the flat, or the local area was provided. This had all the hallmarks of budget accommodation, devoid of any interest by the provider but at a premium price. Not recommended.
Summary: Poor quality, over-priced accommodation in great location.
