Summary: This property was excellent - overall, I highly recommend it, and I would certainly stay there again. It was extremely clean when we arrived, so definitely no worries there (and a fresh-baked torte was there as well). The owners are friendly, accommodating, and helpful (gave us lots of tips on where to hike, where to shop, etc.). It is a two bedroom apartment (one-queen bed in one room and two singles in another, and the mattresses are really comfortable), so for the price, you get plenty of space, which also includes a small kitchen (well-stocked with pots, pans, utensils, etc.), a sitting (TV) room, two bathrooms (one with a steam shower!), plus a small deck. The apartment is a short walk from downtown Cortina (approx. 2 km), which we enjoyed; we often prefer to stay outside of the downtown area. I have three other comments, however, none of these would prevent me from recommending the property or staying there again: 1) the free wifi in downtown Cortina is very spotty, and while I know that it's important to be disconnected for vacation, sometimes we still need it; so I think that wifi might be a good addition to the property (currently not available); 2) the apartment is right on the main road that runs into Cortina, so it is busy, and there is traffic noise, however, the apartment is relatively well-insulated, and we were not disturbed so much by the traffic; 3) the apartment could be stocked with a few items such as toilet paper, paper towels, soap, and maybe some basic cooking/food items like salt, pepper, sugar, cooking oil.
