Positive: Coming to Barcelona always brings me great surprises and beautiful memories — and this time was no different. In fact, it was even more special. Beyond all the unforgettable moments, this trip made me feel truly at home. Ana, our host, welcomed us with such warmth and generosity. Her apartment — her home — is incredibly well-located, just steps from supermarkets, a short walk to Barceloneta Beach, and less than 100 meters from one of Barcelona’s main metro lines, the L4, which connects you directly to must-see places like Sagrada Família, Gran Via, Gothic Quarter, and Park Güell. The location truly couldn’t be better. The apartment itself is perfectly planned and matches the standard of a luxury home. The kitchen is fully equipped, featuring an air fryer, fridge with built-in ice dispenser, and air conditioning in every room. The entire apartment is climate-controlled and smart — with Alexa integration and automated blinds that open and close with the touch of a button. Ana was always incredibly kind and available, making us feel at ease from the very beginning. She was attentive and helpful whenever we needed her. Staying in her apartment was a whole experience in itself — one that gave us the comfort, safety, and warmth of a true home. The two bedrooms have super comfortable beds, and the bathrooms are impeccable, one of them even has a bathtub, which was perfect for a hot, relaxing bath after a long day of sightseeing, shopping, or simply walking under the Barcelona sun. We are Brazilians, and we’re used to warm hospitality, emotional connection, and rich exchanges of experiences. Ana didn’t let any of that be missing. Both she and her home were essential to making this trip unforgettable. We’ll definitely be back — and we absolutely recommend staying here.
Negative: One of the few downsides of the apartment was the Wi-Fi network. I’m not sure if it was an issue with the local internet provider, but the connection wasn’t delivering enough speed to load even a simple TikTok video. That was one of the very few problems we had during our entire stay.
Summary: I felt like I was in my own home.
