Positive: This property has the potential to be absolutely fabulous as it is spacious, bright, modern and has a fantastic pool & surrounding area which is superbly maintained on a daily basis. It is set in a peaceful location away from the busy area of Molyvos town whilst only being less than 5 minutes drive from the free parking area which serves it.
Negative: Our overall impression was spoilt by the fact that the general condition of the electrical equipment was poor and the water heating system only worked on one day of our stay. The fridge, which had a broken door meaning the freezer compartment was literally full of ice on our arrival, (see photo), dishwasher and hairdryer unit in the main bathroom all need replacing. It also transpired that the hot water is supplied from the house next door and needs to be run for over 5mins for the hot water to arrive, (this is not an exaggeration but a genuine requirement even when the system works according to the owner). However despite genuine attempts to resolve the problem during our stay, the owner was unable to do so and so cold showers were the order of the day.
Summary: Lovely villa let down by the condition of the electrical appliances.
