Travel Purpose: business

Positive: Location and on higher floor with nice sunset view off the side. However note that in evening as businesses on and around the street shut down, there is usual nuisance in the street as any other city center -homeless people going through garbage, sleeping on sidewalks and drug dealing. As a man, neither bother me too much as I take precaution and don’t walk with my cellphone or lot of cash - single female travelers may want to take extra precautions and use rider sharing vehicles or official taxis.

Negative: No heating in the apt in cold Curitiba. There was no support available to solve the issue apart from the Whatsapp channel on which you’re not sure if you’re talking to a bot or a real person. Secondly, there was ants problem in the apartment, specially in the area where the desk is under the TV and on kitchen counter. I stayed in the apartment for six nights and every day asked for help using their Whatsapp channel, but neither problem was resolved nor was any compensation offered for the inconvenience. The one extra blanket that was left had stains on it. I asked for replacement and it was indeed replaced. Despite two thin blankets, it was very cold for three or four nights during my stay.
