Summary: This could have been a very good stay but there were several things which were annoying as follows: Uncomfortable furniture (metal dining chairs, sofa that sags, double bed makes noises from plastic mattress cover) Bathroom – no floor mat, no hand towels Kitchen – no tea towel, one champagne glass, no wine glasses (in France!) Bedroom – no air conditioning (the temperature was in the high 30’s several days) Pool area – no outdoor furniture so nowhere to sit after a swim Instructions for access very complicated and sent too late to print out Time of arrival was 4 pm as per our booking with VRBO and changed to 5 pm by the owners/managers prior to our arrival No tourist information, maps, or list of restaurants which are usually left for renters Value for money comparison: More expensive on a daily basis than the two previous weeks where we had excellent properties with usable pools in Provence and the Cevennes and with none of the deficiencies of this property.
