Overlooking the Aegean from the northeastern part tip of the island of Aegina, Alexandra Villa II is the smaller sibling of the homonymous ”power duo” (Alexandra Villas I & II). Although it shares a sizeable garden and a very large swimming pool with its sister, Alexandra II is still one of the most private retreats on the island. The absence of other properties in the vicinity (except from two further Villas with their own outdoors and pool, built some meters below, within the same plot), makes the location ideal for relaxation and moments of unwinding.
Aegina's history begins in antiquity, a time of myths and legendary heroes. The name itself comes from the nymph Aegina, the daughter of the river god Asopos. The history of Aegina and her descendants, the Myrmidons, has been sung by storytellers of antiquity. Today, fragments of antiquity are still visible on the island. One of the spots where this ancient Greek heritage is apparent, is the Aphaia Temple (dedicated to the goddess Aphaia), which is located near Alexandra Villas.
The complex (Alexandra Villas I & II) lies within a verdant scenery, full of Mediterranean trees, near the coastline of the island as well as Agia Marina village. A fence, discreetly separates the plot (which is accessed through a 250 m. country-road at the end of the route) from the outside world.
Alexandra Villa II accommodates up to 8 guests on three levels.
The lower ground (pool) level offers direct access to the swimming pool from two double ensuite bedrooms. On the same level, there is also a guest WC and one more double ensuite bedroom.
Going up a floor (upper ground / entrance level), you will find the open plan living/dining area and kitchen, opening to two balconies with views of the sea and the green surroundings.
On the 1st floor level, there is an ensuite double bedroom with a private balcony which also offers similar stunning views.
As stated above, Alexandra Villas I & II, are built in a large plot of land, sharing well-cared stone gardens and a large swimming pool (15 m. x 6 m.). The houses offer a sense of privacy and harmony.
