As you enter this historic property you are welcomed into a large hallway, with plenty of storage for coats, shoes, and any outdoor equipment. On the ground floor you are joined by two very comfortable en-suite double bedrooms. One, an elegant master bedroom featuring a snug kingsize bed and en-suite, the other a kingsize or twin room, also including an en-suite. The open plan living area on the first floor has floor to ceiling windows overlooking the Mawddach valley and its well-known walking and cycling trail. Here you can rest comfortably and enjoy the view at any time – with a good read or after an adventurous day up Cader Idris, enjoying the beach at Aberdyfi, visiting the historic castle at Harlech, or exploring the traditional local town of Dolgellau.

For some delightful shops, cafes and pubs, Dolgellau, steeped in Welsh history, is a short drive away. The town hosts a farmers’ market and has retained its traditional market town feel - a gem in the Snowdonia National Park. There are plenty of places to enjoy dinner and wine across the town.
