973 Hunters Ridge (The Pointe) - 2 Living Rooms, 4 Bedrooms, 3 Full Bathrooms, plus an Office -- This secluded home is located in exclusive Hunters Ridge with soaring cathedral ceilings flooded with natural light. The Pointe is situated in a forest setting, at an elevation of 4,000+ ft, and is surrounded by nature and wildlife, yet only a ten-minute drive to the Village slopes. You enter the home on the upper level into a 24'x40' Great Room with an open living concept and a gourmet kitchen stocked with Le Creuset and Calphalon cookware and every possible appliance and convenience you may need. Loads of other kitchen gadgets and an abundance of storage for the goodies you bring from home are there for your convenience. We also provide a gas grill on the front deck with all the BBQ tools. The Dining Room has a wooden farm-style table that comfortably seats 10 plus an additional 4 at the bar stools in the kitchen. that's seating for 14 adults..... something that is unique in a rental home. The upper Living Room has two couches, two recliners, lots of pillows for the to gather on the floor, a piano, a 50" Samsung Smart TV, and of course a gas fireplace. The upper Level consists of an enormous En-Suite Master with a King Bed and private balcony to enjoy the sunset views. The rest of the upper level consists of an Office with a full-sized desk, computer, and printer if you must work a bit, a 2nd Full Bathroom, and an additional Bedroom with a King Bed. Lower Level you'll find the 2nd Living Room with large picture windows overlooking the forest. It has its own gas fireplace, pullout full-sized sofa, comfy reading chair, and rocker a 55" Samsung Smart TV. Lower Level Bedrooms. One is very large with 3 Twin Beds and 1 Queen perfect for a family or all the children. The other Bedroom is Queen. If you want to enjoy the outdoors, spend the evening making s'mores with the family and telling ghost stories around the fire pit. We provide plenty of folding chairs, firewood, fire starter, and s'more skewers. Being far from city lights, Mother Nature puts on a spectacular show of starlight.
PET FRIENDLY In the winter months during snow and ice, four-wheel drive or chains are required.

Summary: My family and another couple stayed here for a long weekend. Enjoyed the property as well as the short drive to the top of Snowshoe mtn. The kitchen was fully stocked, so we cooked during the entire stay. The basement was a great, large space for the youngsters to watch TV. The first floor was bright and open, so made our time together very enjoyable.
