Almond Tree House, a charming detached 4 bedroom house nestled at the base of the foothills that rise from the coast, 10 minutes from the beach, with views to the sea, consists of a large lounge diner, with large table and chairs, the lounge area has a large comfortable sofa and easy chairs, and there is a T.V. Zone, there is also a free fast Wi-Fi internet service, so that everyone can keep in touch with friends and work.
There is a separate kitchen and breakfast room, with all facilities for cooking, including an oven with gas hob, porcelain stone sink, , and a fridge freezer. There is also a breakfast table and chairs as well as a separate pantry, and even a cosy wood burning fire.
The large master bedroom, with large double bed has a balcony with views to the sea and to the mountains, there is also a laptop desk for those who have work to do. The second large double bedroom also has a balcony with sea and mountain views. The third twin bedroom has 2 single beds, and the fourth bedroom has 2 single beds which can be put together on request as a double bed. There is also another single bed that can be placed on request in one of the larger bedrooms.
There are 2 bathrooms, the first on the ground floor has a shower, hand basin and W.C. as well as a washing machine. The second on the first floor has a bath with hand shower, a bidet, a hand basin and W.C.
There is a large garden terrazzo at the front with views to the sea in the near distance and to the mountains to the back of the house. There is a covered terrazza, at the side of the house with table and chairs for eating 'Al Fresco' and a sofa and benches for lounging. At the back there is a wonderful, wild private garden starting with a BBQ zone, that leads to a track going up the mountain, depending on your courage to can go up and find different spots to sunbathe in private.
700 metres down the road is an ‘Agriturismo’ or farmers restaurant, where the proprietor produces everything served on the table, including salami, pecorino (sheep’s cheese), home made pastas, suckling pig, Sardinian sweets and great local wine and liquors and of course one can walk home.
For a membership fee of €5 per person per day, one can gain access to the recreation and sports centre, at Baia della Mimosa (10 mins by car) including 50m Olympic and children’s swimming pools, (open from 16thMay.-end Sep.), tennis courts, basket, football and minigolf. (in the low season some of the sports facilities and services may sometimes be unavailable due to weather conditions, demand etc.)Also included in the price are participation for those interested, in the activities of animation, miniclub for kids, entertainment shows, dancing and discothèque music and Piano Bar.
