The beach is just a 5-minute drive away in Kildonan where seals are often found, making this a great place for children and daily picnics. Kildonan also has a hotel serving food and drink to non-residents. Just a further 5 miles away is Whiting Bay with another beach, play park, shop, bar, restaurant and golf club.
