The historic city of Norwich is a 17 mile drive, with a park and ride on this side of the city, or why not let the train ‘take the strain’. Within a half hour drive there are numerous sandy beaches, either in the town of Great Yarmouth or in the countryside, most of which are dog friendly. The train also runs to Lowestoft regularly.
