10 minutes to coast & 5 minutes to Bridport in beautiful secluded countryside | House in Bridport, United Kingdom

1 Bedroom House with TV, Balcony and Bedding
Hidden down a very quiet lane and surrounded by fields, The Loft is a comfortable, well equipped and secluded Dorset hideaway in a recently refurbished 18th century thatched barn. Great location just 10 minutes drive from the sea and only 5 minutes drive to Bridport.
The south facing, spacious, open plan Loft bedroom/sitting room has a high ‘church’ ceiling with beams and was the former hayloft. It now boasts a super king bed and French windows onto the balcony. There is a lovely view from the bed and balcony. The sitting area has a 40 inch Smart TV and soft seating for 4 people comfortably (Sofa and chairs). There are often sheep in the field opposite and you are quite likely to see deer from the balcony in the mornings and evenings.
Downstairs the former calf shed has become a well-equipped modern kitchen/diner with a large Bertazzoni gas range cooker. French windows lead onto the patio, a generous garden and fields beyond. The patio/garden are ideal for al fresco meals and just relaxing. You can eat or sit outside on the patio under the balcony even if the weather isn’t great!
One of the Loft highlights is definitely the spacious walk-in Mosaic shower room created by our daughter Posy. Large fixed shower head and great water pressure!
The entrance hall/utility room is equipped with a washing machine/tumble drier and freezer.
There is a covered parking area.
