The Coach House is set amongst 6 acres of grounds in a small privately owned hamlet of cottages. This original detached cart house once belonged to a much bigger estate of grounds that many years ago was farmed by monks. In keeping with its traditional stone and slate exterior, the Coach House has been furnished to a high standard with many unique and handmade items.
As you step through the door of this cosy cottage, you will be greeted by an open plan living room, kitchen and dining area complete with a cute log burner. A handmade free-standing kitchen with retro elements, a leather Chesterfield and an antique dining table ensures that you have everything you need to be comfortable during your stay in this beautiful, quirky cottage. Upstairs you will find a comfy kingsize bed and a stunning free-standing copper bath, perfect for relaxing after a long country walk, (Please note that there is reduced height with heavy beams in some places). There is also a striking shower room with a copper sink and items made by local craftsmen.
Outside leads to a private patio overlooking a large field where, depending on the time of year, you may see beautiful Welsh Cob horses. You also have a private wood-burning hot tub with lights and bubbles where you can relax after a busy day exploring the countryside and beaches nearby. A BBQ and garden furniture are provided for alfresco dining, making it the perfect spot to sit and have coffee in the crisp morning air.
Beyond the cottage is 6 acres of grounds shared with the other guests. A bridge takes you over the river to a picnic area, the perfect place to relax with a drink to the sounds of the water flowing.
This quaint cottage with its rustic elegance is the perfect place for a romantic break for two. A small welcome pack is provided.
