Positive: I like that it had covered parking

Negative: The hotel entrance looked like a side door and had no lock on it and the handle was broken. The lobby was not inviting and it took me a minute to realize that’s where the check in was. Since there was no security on the entry doors I figured the elevators would have some, nope! My room was clean, but very spartan, zero artwork or aesthetics to make it feel cozy. It looked like they were finishing a renovation (not a well done one either), the ceiling showed definite water damage and peeling paint & my shades had what looked to be small char or burn marks on them. Also my door would get stuck open and had to be pushed quite hard to close.

Summary: Convenient to get into NYC but not a stellar stay
